Plastics are continuing to fill our oceans at alarming rates with more and more floating plateaus being discovered worldwide. On hearing this news most of us sigh, tut, but then we move on, feeling there is little we can do to address this problem.

I feel this way also, but I am looking to create a piece of work that is intended to raise further awareness of this ‘problem’. I don’t understand why we are not finding solutions through science into breaking down these plastics to create, perhaps, building bricks for houses?

I am looking forward to receiving any found plastic debris on beaches globally - if you would like to contribute please contact me and I will be happy to refund for postage and packing and you will be credited within the work.

                                 Happy foraging!
